A losing run of four games in all competitions in a row, including Manchester United in the FA Cup last Sunday, needs to come to an end sooner rather than later for The Glovers. The next chance for us to manage this comes at Oakwell against Barnsley on Saturday.

Barnsley have the luxury of four new signings with recently signed, be it permanently or on loan spells, Alex Kiwomya, George Waring, Milan Lalkovic and Ben Pearson in all contention to play a part.

James Bailey has also returned from injury but Sam Winnall is still hamstrung by a hamstring injury.

We’ve struggled to field a full compliment of substitutes quite often this season and our numbers are depleted again by the losses of loanees Ryan Inniss and Tom Eaves who have returned to Crystal Palace and Bolton respectively.

Joe Edwards and Kieffer Moore both made returns in our 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Huish Park against Manchester United and both should be included today.

The positives that we saw against Barclays Premier League giants Manchester United need to be taken forward into our SkyBet League 1 survival campaign, starting at Oakwell today with a revival swiftly needed or a second successive relegation is very much on.
