Former Arsenal and Colchester man Craig Eastmond is ‘very close’ to sealing his arrival at Huish Park with Terry Skiverton announcing in the Western Daily Press that his arrival should be confirmed ‘in the coming days.’
The midfielder has been training with us since last week with his ‘added experience’ something that he feels we’re in need of and will benefit from.
‘He’s very close to agreeing something. He will bring that added experience.’
Eastmond was released from his contract with Colchester at the end of last month with this mutually agreed so could find himself a new club outside of the transfer window, which should be Yeovil with him arriving in time to make his debut at the weekend….
It’s unlikely that he’ll be the only arrival as Skiverton’s got another one or two lined up that can ‘help this team’ – Jamar Loza’s return to Norwich, at the end of his loan, will also help.
