Manager Paul Sturrock and Yeovil Town have got the signing of midfielder Wes Fogden over the line hopefully in time for him to play some part in tonight’s pre season friendly opener against Truro City.

The deal is subject to paperwork confirmation but that should hopefully come though ahead of the game.

The 27 year old has signed a two year deal at Huish Park and began his career with hometown club Brighton back in 2006 before making the move to Dorchester Town in 2008. After a year with them he moved to Havant and Waterlooville, making over 100 appearances for them with a return of 29 goals.

In 2011 he moved to Bournemouth for three years, making over 50 more appearances.

In 2014-15 he was with Portsmouth in League Two, and made 28 appearances for them – scoring twice.
