Glovers v Doncaster (Preview)

Will it be third time luck for The Glovers? The last two games we’ve played at Huish Park, which we needed to win, ended in draws and that didn’t help our SkyBet Championship survival hopes.

Doncaster is another of those that we can win.

I’ve said it a few times recently but we definitely have to win this one and can’t afford any more slip ups as they’re just outside the relegation zone and have to be one of those we target to catch.

After signing on loan from Huddersfield this week Duane Holmes will be in Gary Johnson’s squad and could come in for an instant debut but Joel Grant is out with a hamstring injury.

With him international clearance granted another recent signing, Ruben Palazuelos, could play a part.

Theo Robinson is back after a knee injury and could come into the Doncaster squad.

Another that can be called upon is Jordan Bowery and after serving a suspension, missing the last two games, Richie Wellens is back.

Doncaster beat us at the Keepmoat but in the last four we’ve played at Huish Park we’ve won the lot with it almost 10 years since we suffered defeat at home against them, tomorrow isn’t the time for this run to end.

The win against Birmingham a month ago breathed fresh life into our SkyBet Championship survival hopes but we’ve not won a game since and haven’t won at home since late last year and have a poor return of just 10 points from our 15 home games.

If that, and some away wins, doesn’t change fast we’ll soon be relegated.

We have a shocking record against Yeovil over the years including some cracking clashes in the conference. I will be happy with a draw on Saturdy.

And the shocking run continues, what a massive three points that could be.
