As things stands The Glovers game against Leeds at Huish Park is set to go ahead but this could change by the time 12:15 arrives tomorrow lunchtime. The last live SkyBet Championship game we were meant to have got called off too didn’t it, fingers crossed this goes ahead.

Tom Lawrence looks set to be given his full debut by Gary Johnson after hinting that the Manchester United loanee had done enough on his substitute appearance against Nottingham Forest to earn this.

Another player on loan to The Glovers is Joe Ralls and he is expected to be fit after a knock forced him off in that defeat with Sam Hoskins (groin) and Liam Davis (broken toe) also expected to be in contention.

Leeds have the boost of having Matt Smith back from suspension, he’d missed the last three SkyBet Championship games due to a sending off. Noel Hunt hasn’t played since October because of a torn hamstring but he’s another in contention.

The run of fixtures we’ve had doesn’t get any easier does it but we’re in the big leagues now and they’re all hard with there being no better time than the present for us to beat Leeds for the first ever time.

Six of the seven meetings have been won by Leeds, and the only one they didn’t win was in League 1 at Huish Park in 2008.

A point would be a good starting point but avenging the 2-0 SkyBet Championship defeat at Elland Road last year, back in November, would get our bid to avoid an instant return to the SkyBet League 1 going and we need to start the revival very soon.
