The man in the middle on Boxing Day at Huish Park as we entertain fellow strugglers Cheltenham will be Mr. James Linnington (Isle of Wight).

Mr. Linnington first took charge of a Yeovil match as referee in October when we beat Crewe 3-2.

James only joined the national list of referees in 2008.

He says that the best game he has officiated in was the Swansea v Barnsely League 1 play off final in 2006.

So far this season (Before Saturday) Mr. Linnington has given 42 yellows and 4 reds in the 12 games that he has officiated, so card happy springs to mind.

His assistants will be Mr. John Busby (Oxfordshire) and Mr. Mike George (Norfolk).

Mr. Ian Bentley (Kent) will be the 4th official.
