Brendan Moloney isn’t one of those that will be on show for Yeovil against Manchester United this weekend as the summer signing has gone out on loan.

With his appearances limited for us chances are he wouldn’t have been involved anyway?

Gary Johnson brought in the 25-year-old from Bristol City in the summer but injuries, and a struggle to get into the side, had limited him to just five-appearances for us this season and he’ll now spend the remainder of it with Northampton.

Northampton snapped up the defender in a deal until the end of the season, with Northampton manager Chris Wilder telling BBC Radio Northampton speaking very highly of him.

He said: ‘He (Moloney) is an attacking full-back and a good all-round player.

‘He has played in the Championship so I’m expecting him to come in until the end of the season and sort out that problem position (right-back) that we’ve had.

‘The two occupants of that position have not done enough, consistently, so we have to look and we have to make changes.’
