The disappointment of The Glovers defeat, after a two goal lead was lost, against Derby County on Tuesday night has to be quickly put behind us as we face their rivals Nottingham Forest at the City Ground today.

Nottingham Forest brought in striker Rafik Djebbour, defender Kevin Gomis and left back Danny Fox this week before the transfer window closed and all three are in contention to come in to make their debuts.

They also extended the loan of midfielder David Vaughan, who is another looking to be in the side.

The loss of Ishmael Miller is going to be a big one for The Glovers, due to the terms of his loan from Forest he can’t play against them. Adam Morgan and James Hayter are competing with each other to start.

We also brought in Manchester United forward Tom Lawrence on transfer deadline day so he could actually be the one drafted in for an immediate debut, he’s proved himself in the SkyBet League 1 with it time for him to prove himself in the SkyBet Championship now with us

Sam Hoskins, Liam Davis and Nathan Ralph are all doubts but Kevin Dawson will hope for a recalls but Ed Upson is no longer a Glovers with him completing a deadline day move to Millwall.

At Huish Park we managed to win 3-1 but with Forest winning six of the nine meetings the sides have had in all competitions, and this being at the City Ground, with them also looking for promotion with us battling relegation few will give us much of a chance.

The Glovers have only won at the City Ground once, that was a stunning 5-2 play-off win in 2007 and what we would give for something similar. A win is something we could so desperately do with but a point gives us something to build on and would be a very good point.

Unbeaten in 12 and with The Glovers losing five of our last six in the SkyBet Championship, and only winning twice away, realistically though we’ll do well to get much won’t we.
