Reading v Glovers – Preview

Are The Glovers facing Reading at the right time? They have lost their last two SkyBet Championship games at the Madejski Stadium and we’d desperately love to make it three.

Reading aren’t likely to have any of their injured players back to add to the squad so it’ll likely be as you were for the squad last time, but some changes might be made to the side that lost to Blackburn.

If so Danny Guthrie could be recalled.

Wayne Bridge (knee), Sean Morrison (knee) and Mikele Leigertwood (ankle) are getting closer to returns but not yet with Jason Roberts (hip) and Jem Karacan (cruciate) a little further behind in their rehab.

Ishmael Miller is our greatest concern.

Limping off with just 10 minutes played in the win over Doncaster last week doesn’t leave it looking got that the striker is going to be able to feature for us so Kieffer Moore is likely to replace him after doing a good job in that 1-0 win.

Gary Johnson isn’t likely to make any changes unless enforced.

It’s now three SkyBet Championship games unbeaten for us and we’ll be looking for it to be third time lucky against Reading, this is the third competitive meeting but we’ve lost both the previous meetings so far.

Should results go The Glovers way we know we could end Saturday outside of the bottom three with a win, which is something I hope for and would be brilliant but I would concede that I’d be happy with a point at the moment as it’ll keep the momentum going of an unbeaten run going.
