Reuben Reid has said it could be the season from history for him if after helping Plymouth avoid relegation, he could play a part in helping Yeovil to be promoted.

Speaking to the Plymouth Herald the striker explained.

‘It would make it a crazy season for me – surviving relegation and, hopefully, trying to get promoted into the Championship.’

He joined Argyle in January after making 25 appearances all in for Yeovil, finding the net 6 times and he’s obviously hoping he gets the call from the gaffer.

‘There’s a great spirit at Yeovil. They have done really well.’

He also said that because of more injury worries he was almost recalled prior to Plymouth’s game against Rochdale, but thankfully an agreement was made for him to see the season out with them before returning.

Now that would make some season for him, especially if he had the chance to come off the bench and score the winner.
