Could Saturday be the turning point for Yeovil with our dramatic injury-time win at Huish Park against Oldham on Saturday the win that kick-starts our League 1 survival hopes? Another false dawn isn’t something we want!

Going into this game I said that we had to win this one against Oldham (Click Here) and after coming from a goal down at half time we turned it around to win it in injury-time when Hayter won it for us two-one.

This win moves us to within three-points of safety – our goal-difference counts against us though but hope is restored.

A first half that we started well in saw Morgan, who missed is penalty in our midweek defeat, have the ball in the net but this was disallowed for offside with Oldham going into the break one-up when Winchester (44) fired past Loach and into the top corner in the last minute of the first half.

We didn’t let our heads drop and after former Yeovil loanee Kean had turned Morgan’s long-range strike onto the post Grant (55) was on hand to turn home and draw us level.

Arthurworrey and Ugwu both went close with a draw looking likely but against the 10-men of Oldham, when Wilson went for his second yellow card, Hayter (90+2) struck dramatically in injury-time to give us a two-one win.

Oldham also had a goal ruled out when Murphy’s header was scratched off with a foul on Loach given.
