Yeovil Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Otis Khan in the five nil victory over Crawley Town at the weekend at Huish Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Khan was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Another 5-0 win over the weekend, this one coming for Yeovil against Crawley Town. Khan was in inspired form, scoring two and setting up two to help the Glovers into Sky Bet League Two’s top six.’

Manager Darren Way was also selected as the manager of the select XI.

‘After a weekend of heavy victories, the Manager of the Week decision was a tough one to call. But, the honours go to Way, who led his Yeovil side to an emphatic 5-0 win over Crawley, taking his Glovers into the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off places in the process.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to both for their recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Karl Darlow (Newcastle United), Andy Butler (Doncaster Rovers), Alex Pearce (Derby County), Ryan Fredericks (Fulham), Souleymane Doukara (Leeds United), Conor Hourihane (Barnsley), Alex Pritchard (Norwich City), Jacob Murphy (Norwich City), Sam Winnall (Barnsley), Otis Khan (Yeovil Town), Chris Martin (Fulham).
