It was always going to be a struggle for Yeovil to secure the services of Jordan Clarke beyond his initial loan from Coventry, and so it appears this will be the case with him moving elsewhere?

Reports in the Coventry Telegraph say that the even though we’re keen to extend his loan spell at Huish Park, something that Clarke himself hadn’t ruled out, a move to a rival club in league 1 will be signed off today….

The identity of the club hasn’t been revealed but it’s thought that this club could be Scunthorpe with Clarke set to undergo a medical today with him already in ‘advanced talks’ to secure this move?

Championship interest from Middlesbrough had apparently been shown in the right back but the Coventry man looks set to stay in league 1, just not with Yeovil!

Aaron Martin could return to the club from Coventry though if Clarke isn’t able to extend his spell….
