Yeovil’s miserable season will see back-to-back relegations confirmed if we lose once again in new manager Paul Sturrock’s first game in charge against Notts County today.

Cut adrift at the foot of the table after six successive defeats, 11-points behind second-bottom Colchester and some 13-points from safety, if relegation rivals Notts County boost their survival hopes and become the latest side to leave Huish Park with all three-points relegation to League 2 will be confirmed.

Sturrock’s going to be ‘experimenting’ in the remaining games of the season as he weighs up things going into next season but looks set to be without Joe Edwards (ankle), who is once again likely to miss out.

Nathan Smith, James Berrett and Kieffer Moore could hope to play a part.

Notts County will also see a new manager take charge for the first time following Ricardo Moniz’s appointment. Ronan Murray, Curtis Thompson and Taylor McKenzie are all injured.

It’s simply, as it has been for weeks, a matter of when and not if we go down but can we enjoy something positive in Sturrock’s first game in charge today?
