The Yeovil fate was sealed on Saturday, the mere formality that it was of us dropping down to League 1 was confirmed following the draw with Notts County. It’s Sheffield United at home tonight.

As we drop down to the basement league once again our visitors to Huish Park tonight are well placed for the play-offs as they target a return to the second tier of English football but with the pressure off we’ll be hopeful we can relax and enjoy what’s left of the season under Paul Sturrock and enjoy a positive future!

Captain Joe Edwards (ankle) will be missing again, as he has now for almost a month due to this persistent problem.

Adam Morgan, Simon Gillett and Kevin Dawson are out long-term with Sturrock likely to continue to look at the players in his squad with next season in mind, which might mean Cardiff loanee Ben Nugent again misses out on the squad as we accommodate the six loanees we have in the five places permitted.

Sheffield United have doubts over Jamie Murphy (groin) and Terry Kennedy who both suffered injury at Oldham on Saturday. Matty Done and Steven Davis should return after sitting on the bench.

With no pressure and nothing to lose could we see a, first of all, Yeovil performance and secondly a win? We’ll hope so but will it happen?
