On loan Everton youngster Shane Duffy has been called up to the Republic of Ireland’s U21 squad for the game UEFA U21 qualifier against Montenegro.
The game takes place at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin on March 5th, and following his performances for us so far this season, Duffy has also been nominated for the FAI’s U21 International Player of the Year award for this campaign.
That awards ceremony takes place also in Dublin on March 2nd, so it could well be a good week for the youngster.
