3G Pitch Work Begins

Yeovil Town have announced that work has now begun on a third generation 3G pitch to replace the old astro turf surface at Huish Park.

The first few patches of the old astro turf pitch have now been rolled away and work will continue over the coming weeks to prepare the area for the new pitch to be laid.

With the weather in recent times certainly making headlines, it’s been acknowledged that the team have struggled to find a suitable training surface in recent weeks, but the 3G pitch should provide the team with a suitable training surface irrespective of what the weather throws at us in the future.
