Yeovil Town have today signed Jordy Hiwula on loan from Premier League Champions Manchester City.

The highly rated youngster moves to Huish Park on a loan deal that will see him stay with us until January 5, 2015, and the 20 year old striker trained with the lads for the first time this morning after the paperwork went through.

He has obviously joined us in time to be in consideration for his debut this weekend when we face MK Dons and he has been handed the No 25 shirt during his time with us.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Gary Johnson said of the capture.

‘I’m very pleased to have secured the services of Jordy until January. He’s a quick striker, that has scored goals regularly for City, hopefully he will show everyone what he is about and score some goals for us.’

Having been a regular in their U21 Development squad, Jordy joins us having played in their win over Liverpool last Thursday, where he again found the net.

The above link to the OS also contained a number of Youtube clips showing him in full flight.
