Everton Youngster Spencer On Trial

Scott Spencer has joined Yeovil on trial so Russell Slade can take a closer look at the Everton youngster.

The striker shot to fame in 2006 when his impressive form in Oldham’s academy side caught the eye of several Premier League sides. It was Everton who picked up him up, but he has been unable to make the break through at Goodison Park as yet.

It is not yet known what will come of this trial, if Everton are not looking to keep the 18-year-old then if he impresses Slade then he might be able to sign him, if they do and Slade wants him then I would expect he would be allowed to sign on a loan basis.
