Following Yeovil Town’s appeal over the innocuous red card given to defender Byron Webster in the game against Reading, the FA Panel responsible for dealing with these appeals have agreed that the referee made a mistake.
With this decision Webster is now not suspended, and he is available for selection this weekend in the game against Sheffield Wednesday should manager Gary Johnson choose to involve him, which is almost 100% really isn’t it.
Webster will no doubt be hoping his season tally of red cards for 2013-14 continues to read one, and that he can build on the 31 appearances he has made so far this season.
Adding a few more goals to his game would help us all out as well wouldn’t it.
Pleased the club appealed this one.

Seeing how appeals usually go I didn’t hold out much hope. Great news.
