The Glovers are closing in on Ruben Palazuelos, the only thing that is now preventing him from being recruited for him to be officially unveiled as our latest signing is international clearance.

He’s been training with us for a couple of weeks now but training isn’t the same as playing and the sooner we can get him on the pitch the better as Gary Johnson is very keen to see his happen soon rather than later.

If the 30 year olds clearance comes through in time he’s hinted that he’ll put him in the squad to face Watford on Tuesday.

Palazuelos is a vastly experienced midfielder that sounds as if he’s going to bring us something that we’ve been missing to our midfield so the sooner his clearance comes through, and he can get himself up an running, the better.
